Nadine Pellegrino and Harry Waldman VS. USA TSA, et al
Is our government protecting us, or do we need protection from them?
This happened to us, it could happen to you

This is a newly developed website as a result of recent media activity. There is much more to our story that has not been accessible to the public. We have decided to share some of the documents with you. There will be more posted shortly.

We've attached our complaint against the TSA and the individuals involved. Our complaint was filed in the USDC in the Eastern District of PA on November 18, 2009. The exhibits are included in two (2) links. Exhibit 4 is separate because it's the copy received under the Freedom of Information Act. The Sensitive Security Information has been removed and the document is no longer classified as such. If you prefer to view a copy of the one filed with the federal court you will need to go through:

http://dockets.justia.com/docket/court-paedce/case_no-2:2009cv05505/case_id-336902/.

The TSA's responses and pleadings will be posted here when they become available.

TSA destruction of evidence link is a court transcript June 4, 2007, in which Philadelphia. International Airport Security Mgr. and TSA Liaison, Renee Tufts, testified about the required standard operating procedures for how the TSA was required to pull and preserve the video surveillance recordings. TSA legal counsel Lisa Eckl , Esq. testified during an in-camera hearing (private hearing with the judge) that their inspectors did not believe it was necessary to preserve the video surveillance evidence in this case. In essence, TSA decided to have the best evidence in the case destroyed which is a violation of civil rights guaranteed under the US Constitution. Furthermore we requested the video in a timely manner only to be stonewalled by the TSA.

The transcript of the motion to dismiss the cases is available.

A copy of the trial transcript is included.

There is a link to the Phila. International Airport website press release about digital surveillance recordings at the airport since Jan. 5, 2005. The document provides information on the type of camera system they had prior to July 29, 2006.

There will be more please revisit.
